Make a Balloon Bouquet

If flowers are your go-to gift for holiday celebrations, you might want to consider a balloon bouquet. It definitely brings the “party” to any room you enter with it.How to Make a Balloon Bouquet

All you need is:
A vase
Some pebbles, sand, or gems to fill the vase with
Balloons
Sticks Β (Head outside. They are free.)

First, fill your vase about 1/4 of the way with your pebbles, sand, or gems. Set aside.

Next, blow up a balloon and as you begin to tie the knot, wrap the long knot area (whatever that part of the balloon is called!) around the top of one of your sticks. I would wrap it around once or twice and then tie the knot.

Your knot will be holding the balloon securely on the stick.Make a Balloon Bouquet for parties-Maggie May's Gifts

Add one or two more balloon onto the same stick for a full effect.

Your knot will be holding the balloon securely on the stick.

Repeat on about 5-8 sticks (depending on how big your vase is).

Arrange the sticks in your vase and there you go!

Your knot will be holding the balloon securely on the stick.

Now your get together is a celebration.

How cute is my 88 year old grandpa, by the way? πŸ™‚

Not only are these festive, they also last a lot longer than flowers. Fun fact: I gave my grandpa this bouquet last November and they still have the vase on their table with most of the balloons still intact. They are smaller but definitely still there. It’s the party that just won’t quit!

  1. That’s a cute idea! So colorful. πŸ™‚ You could even do a mini version by using water balloon-size ones! (I’m all about miniatures, probably why I love babies so much!) LOL

What do you think? I would really love to know!!
