If you have a little bit of paint, you can transform many of your spring décor items into winter pieces quickly. I’ll share one example.
I found this adorable birdhouse but I didn’t like the color. It might work in the spring or summer, but winter is a-comin’.
I decided to paint the house white and that immediately brightened it up.
Trying to go with a winter theme, I added a little red bird from the dollar store on the perch for a pop of color. Plus, red birds are wonderful :)
So if you’re not overly attached to any of your spring décor, or if you don’t have storage room for it, grab some paint and just leave it out for the winter!

How easy! There would be tons of spring clearance items you could turn into winter decor. . . I’ll have to stock up next year!
That’s true! and shopping clearance is always fun 🙂
That’s clever! And a great way to redecorate without spending lots of money! Great idea 🙂
